ABOUT

My name is Mia, an illustrator who lives and works in Stavanger, Norway. I graduated from Middlesex University with a BA in Illustration in 2017. I am currently studying graphic design to further develop my skills.

My work reflects my dark sense of humour and especially lends itself to children’s book illustration and editorial illustration. The work is composed with a hand-drawn, comic-style narrative, using watercolours, pencil crayons and digital drawing. I also enjoys reportage drawing and filling numerous sketchbooks to the brim!

I have produced work for both commercial and private clients such as Norwegian student literature magazine Prospopeia, and writer Asli Hersi on her book, "Min somaliske eventyrbok" ("My Somali story book").

I am always looking for new and interesting collaborations, and can offer anything from logos, album covers, book covers and custom illustration art works - anything you have in mind, really! If you would like to work together, don't hesitate to contact me!
